Presently, as per Iowa Green Party governor's candidate appearances, I am open for non-work hours from now until November 5. From July 29 forward, this takes in the p.m.'s of Saturdays and Sundays, daytimes Mondays, and evenings Wednesdays. I can offer topical themes on community agriculture, Christian peacemaking, or church inclusiveness. Or I can preach from the common lectionary, as you wish. Just let me know if you know of a church in need, be it yours or another's. Thank you.

Wednesdays and Thursdays, through July 25, presenting "Backyard and Beyond: Earth Trekkers," ecologically-informed storytimes for children entering grades 1-3, as part of summer youth programs at Ames Public Library.

Saturday, July 13, fundraiser with local bands and Story County Greens, Cafe' Diem, 323 Main St. in Ames, 8-11 p.m. $5 suggested donation at the door.

Saturday, July 27, riding in Nordicfest parade, 10:30 am., in Decorah.

Saturday, October 26, voter registration deadline for the November 5 election. Get folks to register Green!
